Does anyone else get cross with people using the parents room when they don’t have children?
I was at the MCG yesterday and had to tell a few people to buggar off. My 17 month old seems keen not to wear nappies (he throws an absolute nana when you put one on him) so even though he wore a nappy, I am keen to encourage him, so I was taking him to the parents room to use ...

I got this one from the Muppets and I want to share - takes a bit of thinking - but very funny…………………..
Many many years ago when I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow who was pretty as could be.
This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.
This made my dad my ...

I’ve been flat chat since the sale started - I think my eyes must be falling out of my head! Hubby had to work from home today to help me pack the orders.
Got my newsletter out today as well - Kelly from Nuvomaternity has given us this gorgeous breastfeeding nightie with a matching wondersuit ...

I’ve got a friend who is swapping over to cloth part time to save money. So I figured I’d get her some disposable liners to help make the transition easier - so she doesn’t have to flush the poo away from the nappy. Normally I’d recommend flushable liners, but they are more expensive and she’s only interested in saving money. Since she’ll still be using disposable wipes she will have to make th trip to ...

Article from:
A TRUCE has been called in the nappy war, and neither side won.

I didn’t want to include this for a while as it has some personal information contained that wasn’t common knowledge at the time.
So this is my graduation speech from my public speaking course, and I chose to speak, surprise, suprise, about nappies!
The most relevent bits I want to stress are the last few paragraphs where I explain how it is not necessary to be fanatical in using cloth, but it is possible to use both ...
Boo to Planet Ark
I thought I’d share this email I received from Planet Ark telling me that they are not interested in reusable nappies (Could that be because they are in "partnership" with a disposable nappy company?)
Firstly here is my email to Planet Ark:
Hello AnnaI have been given your name from a friend. I am quite familiar with the UK Life Cycle Assessment which concludes that there are no advantages in either nappy system....

GUIDE TO NAPPY RASH
Nappy rash has become the generic term for any redness on the skin in the nappy area. An adult’s skin is 2mm thick, whilst an infant’s is only 1mm, so it is only natural that they are more susceptible to irritants. Whilst true nappy rash is not uncommon it is important to be able to distinguish between that and other rashes that come under the “nappy rash” umbrella.
